DAVID A. SINGER, M.Ed., NGH
BIOGRAPHY
David A. Singer is a Masters Degree graduate of New York University’s Rehabilitation Counseling program. David has worked as a Rehabilitation Counselor in both private and public sectors in New York City and New Jersey, including Rutgers Community Mental Health Center / The University of Medicine & Dentistry, Piscataway, N.J.
David was instrumental in creating and developing the curriculum which certifies alcohol and substance abuse counselors in New Jersey. He has taught 6th grade through college over much of his career and is a Certified School Social Worker (NJ).
With extensive Interdisciplinary Collaborative Family Law Training, David has promoted the non-adversarial approach to resolving divorce and child custody issues. He is also a Certified Hypnotist, and well versed in utilizing all of these qualifications to provide his clients with the necessary tools to focus their positive energy and maximize their potential.
Founder and director of Stress Management Services of Monmouth County, David has been incorporating his expansive education and experience in biofeedback and self-regulation since 1981. He has been helping individuals and families reclaim their physical and emotional well being ever since.
His method and philosophy is to educate his clients and students
in the art and skill of self-regulation. David’s personalized and
compassionate approach to correcting personal distress and discomfort
has demonstrated swift and lasting results for over 25 years.
